Chris Hayward
Director / Head Builder
Having completed his pre-apprenticeship in 2002, Chris honed his construction skills over the ensuing decade from the South Coast to Sydney with New Steel Homes. Taking time to travel Australia and other parts of the world brought from a love of hiking and outdoor adventures, Chris returned to the South Coast in 2013 and established Creative Constructions.
Built from the core values of trust and integrity, Chris quickly established Creative Constructions as a leading bespoke building company. Sought out by local and metropolitan entities alike, Creative Constructions successfully delivered many residential builds, renovations and commercial projects for Bannisters By The Sea and eminent Sydney Architect Tony Freeman of TF Architects.
In 2019, New View Building Solutions was born from the foundations laid by Creative Constructions. In New View, Chris continues his hands-on approach with every project, ensuring his high standards are replicated and amplified by his experienced team. This attention to detail and strong leadership is what makes New View construction projects stand out from the rest.
When he is not on-site with his team or coordinating project stakeholders, you will find Chris somewhere outdoors - either camping with his young family or hiking with friends. Chris is also passionate about supporting his local community and is involved with several local not-for-profit projects.
